"Mundus - Un mundo a tus pies" is a non-profit Organization registered in the cities of Barcelona, Santa Coloma, Badalona and Sant Adrià. It has international impact and national as well. It is an association created by young people who really cares about mobility, exchange, cultural diversity and non-formal development for youngsters. The Association begins his journey with the goal of implementing projects which facilitate the contact between cultures and with the idea of promoting a more inclusive and egalitarian society, Mundus aims to give opportunities to young Catalans and Europeans to develop themselves, and learn through non-formal education.
The organization was founded by Ingrid Gázquez and Alberto Tortolero in 2013 with lots of illusion and the idea to work doing what they enjoy. All founding members of our association have personal and professional experience in the Youth in Action Programme and the new Erasmus+. All of us were EVS volunteers in different countries and have participated and organized Youth Exchanges and Trainings in which we played the roles of participants, coordinators and trainers. We have a global vision of the meaning of mobility, not only superficial but deep in contents and objectives. We are a group motivated by our own experiences with the only aim to let young people know about what Europe offers and the way how they can take advance of that.
Also as management entity, Mundus enjoys a leading position at European level, not only working in the third sector, but also as event, training courses and exchange organizer.
The fundamental principles pursued in all activities carried out by Mundus are:
-Supporting young people to develop professionally and personally.
-Provide training opportunities for young people through formal and non formal education
- Empower youth mobility as a basic tool for the development of skills and abilities.
Mundus has the ability to adapt its activities to the needs of its customers, employees, European partners, youngsters and volunteers. Our target groups are several and variated but mainly we are focus in youngsters who want to improve their skills and grow up as professionals and as persons. His team has adequate training and experience to deal with challenges and establish protocols.

European Mobility
Since its creation, Mundus - Un mundo a tus pies designed, implemented and developed youth mobility projects funded by the European Commission under the old Youth in Action and from 2014, with the Erasmus+ program. Only in 2013 the organization managed 30 European projects sending volunteers to more tan 15 different european countries.
International Training
The Learning process of young people is one of the key aspects which Mundus Works. The participation in European and international traning courses is an asset we offer to youngsters to get them involved as europeans through formal and non-formal education. Only in 2013 Mundus has sent participants to more than 15 training courses all around Europe and has served as staff of an international exchange which took place in Bulgaria.
Participatory Democracy
To promote participation or implement projects that enhance active citizenship, Mundus team has been invited as experts to advise programs on citizen participation.
Entrepreneurship
Mundus coordinates and participates in programs to exchange good practices with companies to develop new business strategies in the management of projects. Mundus also works with youngsters who want to start their own projects and guides them through the process. Mundus team tries to push them to begin with their own social start ups guiding them during the process.
International Partners
Mundus team has a long experience in European training, so over the years has managed a portfolio of international partners we work safely and efficiently with, and with full guarantee of success. The entity has partners in all European countries and we know them personally and professionally. We count with their knowledge, skills and strengths for a good implementation, management and program development.
Mundus has the support of public and private institutions in national and international level.
Only in 2014 we managed 30 European youth mobilities projects.
Mundus has been invited as experts to advise programs on citizen participation. Worked with programs such Europe for Citizens, Erasmus+, Youth Guarantee and others.
